Murad Buildings is the leading development company in Uzbekistan, known to every resident of Tashkent. The buildings built by the company are present in every district of the city, the company is actively advertised through all communication channels. Prior to launching the construction business, the founder Murad Nazarov had entrepreneurship experience in various areas. Seeing great prospects in the construction industry, he decided to open a construction company. Due to no systematic approach, not to mention corporate governance, the company was faced with the challenge of reaching a new level of development. It was with the development strategy that the company's cooperation with Compass Consulting began.


For further growth, every businessman must understand why he/she needs this business, what goals to pursue, and what values are resonant. In every house that Murad Buildings builds, there is someone associated with the company, either members of the founder's family or someone from the team. Murad Nazarov himself lives in the first multi-storey building built by Murad Buildings. The company works both for themselves and on behalf of themselves. Defining the values of a product or service helps a company in two ways at once:

Firstly, realizing that the company does not just produce a product or service, but solves a specific customer problem, it receives high consumer loyalty, brand awareness, and a desire to buy the product/service. Secondly, it helps in forming a team. By clearly understanding what the product is for, what goals it pursues and what tasks it sets, the company is able to unite truly zealous people who are moving towards their goal.

As a result of working together with Compass Consulting specialists, the founder of the company began to understand more deeply that the mission and value of his company is to benefit society. It was important for him to raise the level of urban planning in the country, to make beautiful, safe and modern housing for its citizens. Buying a home is an important step for every person, because having a roof over your head is a basic human need, while people do not buy a home often, once or twice in their lives. For effective planning of the company's work, specific strategic goals and a long-term vision of development are necessary. This task has several important meanings: understanding who you are and where you are going, as well as motivation to move on to overcome temporary difficulties.

Initially, a vision for the first 5, 10 and 20 years was developed during the consultation process. In the future, together with key employees of the company, a vision was defined for 30, 50 and 100 years.

In the process of developing the logo, the issue of naming arose. Among the many variants of the company's name, Murad Buildings, which is now well—known to almost everyone, was in the lead. This has an important meaning: the company name is an integral part of the brand. By giving a business its own name, the founder is personally responsible for his product.


As founder Murad Nazarov said, "If we name the business after me, I will bear double responsibility. In case of any difficulties, I will have to answer for it personally, and I will worry about my own name."

A jointly developed brand positioning strategy was also an important step. Compass Consulting consultants and the Murad Buildings team identified target segments and developed comprehensive tactical solutions for them — 4P: what is the product, its price, how and where to communicate with consumers.

In parallel with this work, employees were hired for the company in positions in accordance with the developed organizational structure. Compass Consulting employees personally participated in the search and selection of personnel. It was important not only to assemble the team, but also to form its culture, as this part was also spelled out in the development of the strategy.
